Coil on plug conversion kit for 930 turbo. This kit replaces the factory CIS injection with modern port injectors and a standalone ECU for electronic fuel injection. This is the easiest way to convert a 930 Porsche to EFI. It utilizes the factory intake manifold and inter-cooler mounting, with minimal adapting of engine components.
Coil on plug conversion kit for 930 turbo. This kit replaces the factory CIS injection with electronic fuel injection. This is the easiest way to convert a 930 Porsche to EFI. It utilizes the factory intake manifold and inter-cooler mounting, with minimal adapting of engine components.
The kit includes:
- Haltech Elite 750 Engine Management system, un-terminated wire harnesses
- Coil-On-Plug (COP) coils, mounting brackets, and related hardware and mating connector components
- Required sensors & mating connector component kits: Wideband O2 sensor, hall effect throttle positoin sensor and adapter kit, cylinder head temperature (CHT), intake air temperature (IAT). A turbo scavenge pump with cam sync sensor is needed to run sequential fuel injection/direct fire ignition, but not necessary if running batch fire injection and waste fire ignition.
- 930 EFI injector blocks, fuel rails, injectors and fuel pressure regulator
- A fuel line kit to ease plumbing to the factory fuel filter and return line is available to add: 9312-60
- Crank trigger adapter
- Default crank pulley is single groove 127mm (no A/C) but pulleys with A/C are available as an upgrade.
This kit utilizes a Haltech Elite 750 standalone ECU to control fuel and spark, replacing the factory CIS. It uses adpater blocks between the factory 930 intake manifold and heads to add modern port-injection fuel injectors, and uses a Clewett Engineering distributorless crank trigger ignition with COP coils.
Kits can be configured with various fuel injector sizes, and upgraded to Haltech Nexus S3 ECUs.
Clewett Enginering crank trigger kits are used in the kits to provide the crankshaft speed signal for the ECU. A hall effect throttle position sensor (TPS) for the factory throttle body provides a high resolution and reliable signal to the ECU.
These kits can include pulleys with or without provision for A/C compressors, or upgrade to a serpentine belt conversion.
We can also configure the kit with Coil packs and spark plug wires instead of coil pack if desired.
Twin plug engines can add bottom coil kit 9017-99.
Many upgrade options available:
- Idle speed control motor (IAC)
- Turbo scavenge pump w/cam sync
- Dual wide band EGO
- Fuel line kit
- and more
